About the original factory exhaust

Car manufacturers to set of the original exhaust, is for the vehicle's dynamic performance, noise, exhaust gas environmental protection performance, fuel economy and the production cost and other aspects of consideration, is the comprehensive factors more reasonable design.

Small-engine cars, the original exhaust usually don't design too smooth, it is insufficient to optimize small displacement engine itself low twist features, proper exhaust resonance effects with back pressure, can improve efficiency of low and middle speed exhaust, thereby enhancing low twist.

Material of exhaust pipe

The modified exhaust pipe is usually made of stainless steel, and the smooth inner wall can improve the flow of air out of the exhaust pipe.

The stainless steel that can be used to make exhaust pipe also divides very much, have 201, 202, 304, 301, 409 to wait for material commonly.

201.202.301.304 with austenitic stainless steel, the biggest difference lies in the expensive nickel (Ni), the content of element 304, the amount of nickel element is much higher than other types of steel, stainless steel corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance depends largely on the size of the value.

Therefore, the corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel is better than other types of stainless steel.

In the past, most of the domestic exhaust pipes were made of 201 and 202 models of stainless steel, which can even be called as stainless iron 409 ferrite steel.

This kind of stainless steel has low nickel content, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and low oxidation resistance, but because of its low price, many small workshops of exhaust pipe use this kind of material.

Some claim to be 304 stainless steel, but the nickel content of steel used is not up to standard, or steel pipe, drum body and tail nozzle are mixed with different steel.
